Topic of the open class:
“Thoracic cavity: pleura, pleural cavity, pleural sinuses. Trachea, bronchi, lungs, and the topographic anatomy of the root of the lung. Pleural cavity puncture and drainage. Methods and techniques of suturing lung injuries. Anterior mediastinum: pericardium, heart, thymus, superior and inferior vena cava, phrenic nerves, ascending aorta, aortic arch, descending aorta, and their topographic anatomy. Pericardial puncture. Suturing of cardiac injuries. Posterior mediastinum: thoracic aorta, thoracic part of the esophagus, thoracic duct, vagus nerves, thoracic sympathetic trunk, and their topographic anatomy. Divisions of the mediastinum and fascial tissue spaces.”
