🏛 At the Department of Human Anatomy and OSTA (Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy) of the Tashkent State Medical University, classes organized to introduce students to the world of major surgery and improve their practical skills are in full swing.
This time, our open lesson and practical session were dedicated to one of the most complex and crucially important areas of general surgery — the topic of “Organs of the upper abdominal cavity: operations performed on the liver, spleen, and stomach.”
This in-depth session was conducted with great mastery by the heads of the “Young Surgeons” club, the experienced surgeon-teachers of our department — Rajabov Bekzod Madirimovich and Ergashev Sukhrob Tokhirovich.
✨ What was learned during the lesson?
* The topographic anatomy of the liver, spleen, and stomach, as well as their specific features from a surgical point of view, were analyzed.
* Resection techniques, suturing methods, and bleeding control (hemostasis) procedures performed on these organs were visually explained.
* Students had the opportunity to test their surgical skills in practice using special medical models and surgical instruments.
The session was very engaging, and specialists provided comprehensive answers to numerous questions from the students.
Reminder: For ambitious youth who have set the goal of becoming skilled surgeons in the future, the “Young Surgeons” club opens its doors twice a week. Join our ranks and take an important step towards the future with us!
